Bruker APEX II CCD

SummaryiLab logo

BRUKER APEX II Diffractometer is based on Platform Goniometer and equipped with APEX II CCD Detector, Cu - Microsource and Oxford Cryosystem 700 Plus low temperature Device. Instrument producing data of excellent quality for both routine structure determination and for high-accuracy data, including absolute configuration study of light atom compounds. Because of a very powerful source, this diffractometer can resolve the structure of extremely small crystals.Bruker Apex II Diffractometer in a laboratory setting.

BRUKER APEX II Diffractometer can be used to obtain powder patterns of samples sealed in 0.3 -1 mm capillaries. Data collection can be performed in the temperature range 80 - 320 K.

The instrument is located in 1707 Gilman Hall.  Enquiries should be directed to Dr. Arkady Ellern.  Phone 515-294-7956 (office).
