QA - QC Protocols

Introduction

The standard spherical single crystal crystal with diameter of 0.2 mm should be used to align X-ray for maximum intencity of the incident beam. Only specially trained personel with radiation dosimeter from H&S is allowed to perform alignment and callibration.

Standard YLID Single Crystal

The hemisphere data collection on 2-Dimethylsulfuranylidene-indan 1,3 dione  (YLID) single crystalline sample  should produce the stable refinement with  R1 < 0.03 and GOF ~ 1.

The thermal ellipsoids should be well-shaped and it should be possible to obtain correct optical configuration by refinement.
