The Rigaku powder x-ray diffractometer is used by students. The instrument is primarily "walk-on" but on-line scheduling using "iLabs" is also availalble. The real-time instrument availability status is monitored on our front page. The two single-crystal diffractometers are used primarily by staff. The internet camera in the lab can also be used to determine whether instruments are in use. You must have current X-ray safety training in order to be in the lab.
