Introduction
The standard spherical single crystal with a diameter of 0.2 mm should be used to align the X-ray for maximum intensity of the incident beam. Only specially trained personnel with a radiation dosimeter from H&S are allowed to perform alignment and calibration.
Standard YLID Single Crystal
The hemisphere data collection on 2-Dimethylsulfuranylidene-indan 1,3-dione (YLID) single crystalline sample should produce a stable refinement with R1 < 0.03 and GOF ~ 1.
The thermal ellipsoids should be well-shaped, and it should be possible to obtain the correct optical configuration by refinement.
