After a very protracted installation process, the cryoprobe-equipped 600 MHz NMR spectrometer is now online. The system features a QCI-P cryoprobe with extended high temperature range, Bruker Avance III console, and SampleCase 24-sample changer. We have spent the spring and first part of the summer installing and troubleshooting a variety of biological solution NMR experiments. Later this summer and in the fall we hope leverage any unused time by opening spectrometer availability to researchers requiring high-sensitivity 13C experiments. Please reach out to Dr. Jeff Purslow if you are interested in using this spectrometer.
This instrument purchase was funded in part by the Department of Chemistry and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
