How to File a Trouble ticket, report an instrument problem, or make a suggestion to improve service.
You can logon to the scheduling software in two ways.
- Select Trouble Report located in either the upper right corner of the home page or under the Tools drop-down.
- enter username and password then select login
We are using Request Tracker (an open source ticket software) from Best Practical.
- Select New ticket in the upper left part of the window
- Select the appropriate queue.
- Another window appears.
- Enter a Subject and then Describe the issue
- Note: If there is a custom field, select the appropriate choice
- Click on Create ticket.
- The software will send e-mails to the appropriate people.
- Logout then Home to return from the ticket software..
- Wait for an e-mail response.
- If you want to reply to the e-mail response, please login to the webserver, select the ticket and click on reply.
- To avoid spam in the ticket system, we do not allow e-mail to enter.
