How to Reserve an Instrument

You can logon to the scheduling software in two ways.

Select Login located in the upper right corner of the home page tool bar.

enter username and password then select login

select Tools => NMR Spectrometer Schedules

or Select Magnetic Resonance => NMR Spectrometer Schedules from the left tool bar

enter username and password then select login

We are using PHPScheduleIt (an open source calendar software) for reservations.

Control Panel is the starting point, you can return to it by selecting My Control Panel

In the control panel, you can view/delete/modify your reservations.

To reserve time, select bookings

Click the left mouse button on the day/instrument/time that you want to begin.

Another window appears.

Select the End time.

Note: To reserve overnight you will have to make two reservations, one until and one after midnight.

Summary is optional, but useful.

Summaries such as 13C, VT, noesy in D2O help us configure the facility to serve you better.

If the time slot is blue, you have reserved the time.

Please cancel the time if you are not going to use it. We can bill you if you don't.

If the time slot is yellow, an administrator will have to approve the scheduled time.

Be sure to logout (either on the home page or top left of the scheduling software).

If you don't logout, the next person visiting our site from your computer will be logged in as you.
