Services Offered

The primary goal of the mass spec lab is to provide quality mass spec data. The following experiments are provided:

EI, CI  with high resolution capability using sector instrument.

GC/MS EI and CI with an ion trap instrument.

EI, CI solids probe and GC capabilities using a quadrupole mass spectrometer.

Electrospray mass spec using quadrupole instrument.

MS/MS(Daughter ions, Parent ions, and neutral loss experiments) with a triple quadrupole instrument.

On-line ESI/LC/MS,ESI/CZE/MS, and ESI/CIEF/MS. MS/MS capabilities are also provided.

MALDI-TOF with a 1 GHz Bruker Proflex mass spectrometer.
